Satellite trunk leads are DC transparent and delivery or DC power amplifiers (Delivery of 12 to 18 V DC is satellite input connected multiswitch or DC Inserter).
If there is no voltage on any of the amplifier inputs and outputs, the amplifier can be powered from an external power source (recommended PA12) via DC2.1 socket.
This voltage is then displayed on each input and output of the amplifier and can supply other devices in the system or LNB.
Terrestrial Line Input DC is blocked, ground end amplifier is DC-rated from satellite line 3.
The amplifier is designed in such a way that individual devices can be stacked in 2, 3 or 4 satellite amplifier blocks with expansion module A4 / 4PUS-3.
